A century-old house fully renovated by the Picado de Blas Architects Firm in Madrid, who managed to turn this old roadhouse into a beautiful, welcoming hotel, member of the Relais & Châteaux quality club. The architects made a contemporary interpretation that has respected all the history guarded by the house and its exceptional surroundings.
The renovation is full of current, modern allusions to the legacy handed down. The materials, the fabrics, the furniture and the open spaces outside, the beautiful square around Ezcaray’s impressive Gothic church-cum-fortress, built between the 12th and 14th centuries.
